He came to the house with a full suite of samples, which we quickly narrowed down to suit our needs. Installation was flawless, and we are very happy with our roller shades and honeycomb shades. Robert BryantMarch 20, 2026We had a wonderful experience with Made in the Shade Yavapai Company from our initial in home consultation and measurements by Anthony to the precise installation by Joel. Anthony listened carefully to our wants, patient showed us samples of shade and made helpful suggestions. We selected the color from his samples that would perfectly match our other shades in our home. The pricing was reasonable and in line with average reasonable cost with professional installation. Anthony carefully made measurements of our windows which turned out to be perfectly correct when Joel installed them. Joel perfectly installed and adjusted our motorized shades and pstiently showed and explained how to operate and recharge them. The shades cover our large sliding glass patio/dining room door that faced the afternoon sun. We selected the honeycomb design. They look great and provide just enough light while blocking the sun. We also chose the top down bottom up design to allow light in at top but provide more privacy below. We now think it was worth selecting the motorized shades although they cost a little bit more, it is worth it. We would definitely recommend Made in the Shade Yavapai. We did our research and found Made in the Shade to come highly recommended. We contacted them and met Dan at the house. We found Dan to be extremely knowledgeable and very professional and he helped us expand on the ideas we already had and put the finishing touches on them all at a very reasonable cost. The installation went seamless and our home is gorgeous. NanMarch 14, 2025Dan and his team are great to work with. He shows up on time, calls ahead before he gets to your home, has beautiful materials and the latest designs and above all does great work. We had a couple of specialty items that were back ordered a few extra days but because he knew we were having company for several days he offered to bring the window coverings he had to make sure our bedrooms were completed.
